For care settings and employees' families in Taiwan

For the hours no one can be there,
there is an AI that cares

A real face and a real voice, talking with your elders every day, covering the nights, the quiet hours and the distance that no team can staff. Usage and care outcomes are visible every month, so ESG teams and families both have something to show.

Why Munea

Not one more chatbot, but the care gap finally filled

What buyers actually purchase isn't AI vocabulary. It's a service elders will use, front-line staff can read at a glance, and families can feel.

Companionship that remembers

Long-term memory lets every conversation pick up where the last one ended: a sore knee, a grandchild's wedding, the old street they love to visit. She keeps it all. Familiarity is what makes an elder open the app a second and third time.

Care that listens closely

In everyday conversation she picks up low mood and warning signs: a voice that sounds off, a mention of pain, something worrying said out loud. Family and caregivers are notified right away, so "something's not right" becomes "we knew early".

Peace of mind you can see

Family open the app and see how Mom and Dad are doing today, their mood, and whether reminders were completed. Worry from far away finally has somewhere to go, instead of one phone call after another.

The buyer's problem map

Start with who is accountable, who uses it, and who feels the value

A proposal that closes has to answer all four at once: the manager's staffing problem, the front line's workflow problem, whether elders will actually use it, and whether families feel reassured.

Families

Adult children worrying from another city

  • Mom and Dad are alone all day with no one to really talk to
  • You're not there, so you don't know how their day went
  • Medicine taken? Follow-up due? Reminders from a distance always arrive late
Long-term care・health centers

A care floor stretched thin

  • Rounds and reporting eat up most of a caregiver's day
  • Constant calls from families wear out the front desk
  • Nobody can fill the companionship gap at night and in the quiet hours
Corporate ESG

The invisible load of employees caring for parents

  • Employees worry about parents far away: leave taken, focus lost, people hard to retain
  • The S in the sustainability report lacks anything concrete people can feel
  • The benefits budget is spent, and employees don't notice
Senior villages・senior living

The differentiation problem in community services

  • Thin staffing at night and off-peak leaves companionship uncovered
  • Residents feel lonely, and belonging is hard to build
  • Competition for residents is fierce and services all look alike
A pilot isn't a technology showcase. It tests three things: whether elders want to talk, whether the front line does less duplicate work, and whether families feel more at ease.
Proven internationally

A US state government ran AI companionship for elders for three years. It worked.

Since 2022 New York State has placed AI companions in the homes of elders living alone. From the official tracking:

felt less lonely94%
reported better overall wellbeing97%
felt more connected to the world79%
User satisfaction4.6/5

Elders started conversations 30+ times a day, six days a week — nobody made them. They wanted to talk.

In 2025 alone 3,500 elders applied to join, and the state keeps expanding the program.

Munea is doing the same proven thing for Taiwan's elders: in Mandarin, with a real face and a real voice, remembering every single person.

Priority markets and ways to work together

Start where we're closest to the floor and easiest to verify

Phase one focuses on long-term and day care, senior living, and family care support for employers. Other partnerships are open once a pilot confirms the need.

🏥 Long-term care・day care centers

The hours you can't cover, covered first

Start with a small pilot and watch whether elders find it easy and whether families feel more at ease. We don't promise labor savings we haven't verified.
  • Families check in through the app: watch whether inquiries drop and reassurance rises
  • Care signals, organized: your team defines together which situations need a human

🏢 Corporate ESG・HR

Turn family care support into a benefit employees actually use

Start with a small group of employees' parents and see whether it's easy to use and whether the caregiving pressure eases. ESG reporting only ever sees anonymous totals; individual health and conversations are never handed to the company.
  • A companion of their own for employees' elders: the company provides the seats, and employees' parents have Munea with them
  • Linked family app: employees can check on their parents any time
  • 10 accounts or more include a monthly results report: usage・care・exception summary
From NT$499 / person · month・NT$100 less per seat than the App Store price
🏘️ Senior villages・senior living

"A community that cares" is the next reason people move in

Someone to talk to in the room, no empty stretch at night or off-peak, and residents are more willing to stay. Keeping one extra household for a year far outweighs a whole floor's annual seat fees.
  • A companion for each resident: she remembers everyone, and gets more familiar over time
  • Nights and off-peak covered: companionship continues when staffing is thin
  • A reason to choose you: something visitors can see and you can talk about
From NT$499 / unit · month (benchmarked to facility seats, agreed by scale)

Care as the add-on that keeps members

Follow-up reminders that land mean return visits; members who feel remembered renew. Care add-ons are the hardest kind of differentiation to price-shop.
  • Health education, delivered warmly: care knowledge shared through conversation
  • Follow-up and medication reminders: spoken out loud on time, never missed
  • Member service that stands apart: others sell products; you offer a care companion

Inside the app

What elders see is exactly this simple

Big type, few buttons, just start talking. Every screen is designed for an elder's fingers and eyes.

Technology

Staff go home at the end of a shift. Care doesn't.

A real face and voice, an ear for how Taiwan's elders actually speak, and memory of every conversation — the three foundations that let her keep showing up.

Built for Taiwan

Real-time voice and face bring the interaction to life, and the character, the boundaries of care, Traditional Chinese for Taiwan and the family reporting flow all live in one experience. We don't ask you to buy on claims of being "first" or "ahead" that we can't prove.

The interaction layer

What makes elders keep talking

  • A real human face, generated live, that speaks and shows expression
  • She understands and answers back, and you can cut in any time
  • Face and voice in sync, mouth movement following the sound
  • Traditional Chinese for Taiwan, tuned to how people here actually speak
  • Tone follows feeling: when you're tired, she softens
The care layer

Turning conversation into protection

  • She remembers what was said, growing more familiar over time
  • Medication and follow-up reminders, spoken out loud on time
  • Mood and anomaly awareness, hearing when something is off
  • Family and caregivers notified right away, so help is called when it matters
  • A family health circle, where everyone's status is visible
The technology layer

The foundation holding it all steady

  • Our own real-time voice and video engine, so she feels present
  • A care-focused intelligence core that understands elders and knows where the line is
  • Cloud service architecture, with capacity and network verified to the pilot's scale
  • Security and personal data protection: data serves care, nothing else
  • Medical boundaries held: no diagnosis, medication reminders only
Why we call her "the whole family's AI health companion and care assistant"

The interaction layer makes elders want to talk, the care layer turns every sentence into protection, and the technology layer keeps it all running steadily. Together they add up to one assistant who remembers every elder, who can see and hear, and who calls for help when something happens.

Policy tailwind

2026 is a big year for care technology policy in Taiwan

Public funding that can go alongside adopting Munea:

  • Residential facility quality incentive program (2024–2027): backed by the Ministry of Health and Welfare's long-term care fund, with a "smart assistive care technology" indicator. Adopting a smart care solution can be written into your indicator plan, and we help prepare the paperwork.
  • Long-term Care 3.0 smart assistive device rental benefit (effective July 2026): NT$60,000 of rental allowance per care household every three years. Munea's application is in planning (a plan under review, not an established benefit item); if included, the cost to families should drop substantially.
Our principle: subsidies are a bonus, not a precondition. The value has to stand on its own first — hours given back to staff, reassurance for families, something employees actually feel. Subsidies just make the decision easier.
How a pilot runs

It starts with one 30-minute demonstration

We don't ask for a big contract up front: see it, try it, and only convert once it meets the targets.

1

30-minute demonstration

Online or on site, talk with Munea yourself and see how she remembers people and holds emotion.

2

Site assessment

We learn your participants, language and network conditions, and deliver a pilot plan for you within two weeks.

3

2–4 week site pilot

Start with 10–20 participants and review weekly: how easily it's used, what families say, and where a human had to step in.

4

Convert once targets are met

Against the targets agreed in advance, decide to expand, adjust or stop. Final pricing and scope of responsibility are confirmed in the contract.

Boundaries and commitments

Care settings deserve an honest partner

Three things, stated up front:

Positioning

Assistive, not a replacement

Munea is an assistive care and reminder tool. It does not replace human care or emergency medical judgment, and it does not provide diagnosis or medical advice. The escalation flow and responsibilities for warning signs are defined explicitly in the contract.

Personal data

Data serves care, nothing else

Elders' conversations and health data are collected and processed under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act, with consent forms, data processing agreements, retention limits and purpose limitation all in place. Data is never used for anything outside the service.

Language

Traditional Chinese for Taiwan

The service runs primarily in Mandarin, tuned to how people in Taiwan speak. Taiwanese Hokkien is still being improved, and we can assess your setting's language needs before rollout. Other languages are not supported today.

Everyone is teaching AI to answer questions.
We chose to teach AI to care.
